Our People

Brooke Ellison brings a passion and tenacity to her work on a daily basis, serving clients in a number of ways by drafting news releases, conducting research, coordinating mailings and events, and overseeing multiple social media accounts. She has been involved with a number of clients at Southwest Strategies with particular responsibilities with San Diego Gas & Electric, Westfield, and General Dynamics/NASSCO.

Ellison began her career at Southwest Strategies as a full time intern prior to being hired as an Account Executive. She is a recent graduate of Furman University in South Carolina. While she earned her degree in Communication Studies, she competed on the Division I volleyball team, worked as a sidelines sports reporter for CSS Television, and, most recently, was a finalist in a national marketing competition held by Effie Collegiate Awards.

Ellison, a San Diego native, has a wide background in media and writing from her work for Channel 4 and the San Diego Padres throughout the summers of 2009 and 2011.

In her free time, Ellison lives a very active lifestyle playing competitive beach volleyball and running. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
