Stephanie Dell serves as a Public Affairs Manager at Southwest Strategies combining her experience in media and journalism to oversee numerous accounts. Since joining Southwest Strategies in August of 2004, Dell has coordinated community outreach programs and implemented public affairs plans for clients including the City of Lemon Grove, SDG&E and Pardee Homes. Dell has also served a supervisory role on major political campaigns in both San Diego County and Northern California.

Dell has extensive experience in strategic plan preparation, news release writing and developing client communication materials including newsletters, eblasts, websites, brochures and marketing materials. Additionally, Dell has planned several special events and secured coverage for clients in both print and broadcast media outlets.

Dell started her career working at a CNN affiliate where she developed her media skills as a writer for the evening news. Dell also hosted a local television program spotlighting business professionals in the City of Carlsbad. Dell spent time interning at both CBS and NBC news stations in Northern California where she cultivated her writing and public speaking skills which have helped her establish a successful career in public relations.

Dell has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Media Arts from California State University Chico. Dell currently serves on the Board of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association, the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce's Public Policy Committee and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. Dell is also obtaining a professional certificate in Land Use and Environmental Sustainability through the University of San Diego.

When the work week is over, Dell enjoys relaxing with her husband and new baby girl, taking their boxer to Dog Beach and searching for San Diego's best Mexican food.
