Jacqui Hart Promoted to Director of Administrative Services

San Diego, CA - San Diego's leading public affairs firm has named Emily Carbone Senior Account Executive and Jacqui Hart Director of Administrative Services.

Carbone joined the firm three years ago after working in communication for a local defense contractor. During the past three years, Carbone has helped to develop and implement public affairs programs as well as community, government and media outreach programs for Southwest Strategies clients including San Diego Gas & Electric Co. and Westfield Corp.

"Emily's contributions to our firm have been exceptional this year," said Chris Wahl, partner. "We are proud to have her as a member of our team."

Hart, a seasoned office manager and administrative professional, has been with the firm for nearly two years. In her new role, she is charged with managing the firm's administrative team, overseeing business development efforts, and producing key governmental reports.

"Jacqui's professionalism and experience makes for an efficient, smoothly run office," said Alan Ziegaus, president. "In our deadline-driven field, her management expertise is a direct benefit to our clients."

Southwest Strategies offers a full range of communications and strategic services for a diverse client list. The firm's services include public affairs, community relations, crisis communications, public relations, media relations and government affairs. The company has been ranked by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego's top 10 public relations firms. Alan Ziegaus and Chris Wahl formed Southwest Strategies in April 2000.
