Alexis Lopez is an Account Executive at Southwest Strategies. Lopez is focused on community outreach at Southwest Strategies, helping development clients with construction outreach and entitlements. A Spanish speaker, Lopez also assists with multicultural outreach, working with the many diverse communities of San Diego.
At an early age, Lopez hosted a talk show segment on Radio Hispana called “Juvenile Space,” where she helped improve communication between teens and their parents on issues such as depression, suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, and stressful life events. Prior to joining Southwest Strategies as Account Executive, she worked for the Office of Mayor Faulconer, under Federal and Water Policy, Binational Affairs, and Community Outreach. There, she assisted in building strong relations, framing policies, and conducting high-level research on federal and local affairs. Lopez graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors in Political Science and a minor in Social Psychology. She studied abroad at Oxford University in the United Kingdom to study International Relations and has more than three years of experience working at Immigration and Family Law firms.
During her free time, Alexis enjoys doing yoga, taking trips to Valle de Guadalupe Vineyards, and promoting diverse and unique flavors and restaurants on her food blog.Back To Our People
