A native San Diegan, Daniela Gorrino is a Manager of Public Affairs at Southwest Strategies focused on community outreach and communications for various public and private clients. With experience in multicultural outreach and community engagement, she effectively supports public relations programs as part of larger strategic campaigns. Gorrino alleviates the challenges faced by Southwest Strategies clients, especially those in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
Gorrino brings experience from the National City Chamber of Commerce where she supported community development by advocating for pro-business policies and organizing community events. Before her time at the National City Chamber, Gorrino was a virtual intern for the U.S. Embassy in Quito, Ecuador, creating databases and communications for regional tradeshows. Gorrino holds a bachelor’s degree in global economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her education also includes economic studies from the faculty of economics and business at the Universidad de Chile.
