Prior to joining the firm, Sonju was a public relations intern for Valerie Allen Public Relations assisting in public outreach, media relations and social media. She was Vice President of Programming for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Reno, Nevada Chapter and was the Account Lead representing the University of Nevada, Reno in the 2022 PRSSA Bateman Competition. Sonju holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno and earned a Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR) through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
