Prior to joining Southwest Strategies, López worked as an intern at Woodruff, Spradlin & Smart and most recently as a CLYLP Comcast Fellow. In his experiences, López successfully collaborated with legislators, policy experts, and community leaders to produce stakeholder coalitions, communication strategies, and practical policy solutions. López has also gained significant professional experience and partnerships by volunteering with the Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project. As a volunteer, López helps coordinate conferences, marketing, and programming which directly impact high school students, college students, and professionals across the state of California.

López is a proud alumnus of UC San Diego where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Policy and a minor in Human Rights. You can find him exploring San Diego, enjoying coffee shops, and keeping up to date with F1 in his free time!
