Jennifer Wahl serves as General Counsel at Southwest Strategies. In that role, she oversees the Finance and Administrative Services Departments, and manages the firm’s technology program.

Prior to working with SWS, Wahl worked as an attorney in San Diego at Chapin Wheeler LLP (now known as Chapin Fitzgerald LLP) and handled general business litigation for five years at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the top law firms in the world.

A lifelong California resident, Wahl graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her JD from Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley. Finishing with academic distinction from UCLA and Boalt Hall, Wahl earned multiple awards including Order of the Coif and Moot Court Oralist Award, and she served as Executive Editor of the Ecology Law Quarterly at Berkeley. Wahl spent two summers in Washington D.C. working for her local congressman and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. After law school, she was selected for a prestigious clerkship for the Honorable Diarmuid O’Scannlain of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

When not managing our firm’s business functions, Wahl is a mom to three awesome kids. For fun she likes to travel and take pictures of her travels!
